I recently aquired a SHOGUN road bicycle from a yard sale for $20. it is light, has shimano gears. Anyone have any idea what it could be worth?

'it has shimano gears' is about as informative as saying 'it has about 2 wheels'

What kind of shimano gears? What is the frame material? (should say on the seat tube near the bottom bracket)

Most likely, if it is in working condition, $20 is fair. If it is a top of the line frame with Dura Ace components in perfect condition, it's worth $30, but i'll give you $35 for it.

hardly a troll though, trolls usually try to stir up the pot. what reaction could he/she possibly be trying to get in this case? don't add up.

you did give very little info though, a pic would help make up for your obvious lack of knowledge.
