Hey guys, i have this KTM XC and i was wondering can it take a bit of DH without chance of breaking the frame? I'm talking of DH without jumps only 3-4inch rocks all the way... i weight 94kg...
give me your opinion

It should be okay unless you start going off drops etc, even 2-3 feet might start to crack the frame...although i could be wrong. I havent heard a lot about KTM bikes, although they should be high quality considering their dirt bikes are so expensive it cost you half a year's salary to buy one....

well i'll try to stay away from drops... :)
yea they are high quality and compared to imported US bikes here, KTM is better deal...here is their page with prices... http://www.ktm-bikes.at/2008/eu/index.php

If you weight 207lb it's time for a AM/FR/DH type bike.
+1
The problem, that a light bike is always a "pinball game".
Especially if you're a heavy guy on a light bike,
it can be a bit more chances to nice endos.
