Just getting back into bikes after 15 years away and trying to figure out all this new stuff.

I bought this BB for a bike project I’m building for my son. There are no instructions on how to use the 3 spacers it came with. BB measures 68mm and I’m using Raceface 24mm crankset with a 1x transmission. Can’t find instructions anywhere on their website. At the time of purchase I couldn’t find any other BBs this size. Any idea?
Thanks!

I'm having BB issue (creaking) with my bike and I've been learning about BB. I'm guessing that you have standard size cups, and the spacer are used to adjust the width to best fit the bb shell. I'd try each spacer and measure the total width and see which one meets the width of your shell.

Measure the bottom-bracket shell on the frame; if it's 68mm wide, you'll likely need 5mm worth of spacers. You'll have to mock-up the install to determine which spacers are installed on the drive- and non-drive side to center the crank-arms. If the BB shell is 73mm wide, you may install it with no spacers, or you may still need to install a thin spacer on one side to center the crank-arms (I've never run Race Face cranks, so I can't comment on how those cranks are shimmed when installed; this has been my experience with installing SRAM GXP cranks).

Thanks guys. Most of the generic info on the web says 1 on the non drive side and 2 on the drive side for 68mm. The Shimano instructions linked above say the same thing so I will try that.

The BB come with threadlocker. The Park Tool video on BBs says install as is if that is the case but many other videos show grease on top of thread locker  Not sure if thread locker would work with grease on top.
