All these race threads have got me thinking. How many of you guys are racers? Personally, I'm a racer.

Yup. It's a blast to just get out there and really push your riding.

Into it for the last 3 seasons, starting on Number 4. Major injuries to keep me out most of the 2-3. First season, Torn ACL. 3rd season Broken foot.

I race but I wouldn't call myself a racer. I wouldn't call myself a freerider either though. I just ride bikes and have fun!.

mid-pack expert. how I do depends on how much pedaling there is: little pedaling - top 1/3, lots of pedaling, bottom 1/3.

racing is a great way to force myself to get the thrill of going fast and pushing myself to go faster/hit bigger things than I would normally.

if you dont race anymore then you were a racer meaning you are not a racer anymore!
