10 to 12 for me. Which is OK but my bro and his power ranger buddies ride twice that and are really strong, what sucks is some of them have serious off roading skills, scary fast humans on mountain bikes.

Hmmm... Never thought about it too much.

Not every ride is a 'training' ride, but I'm on my bike an average of about 4 hours a day. That's not every day, just an average. Like today... I was on my bike for maybe 6-7 hours (the day is not over either), half of it tooling around town with the kids, hitting some local jumps and the other half riding trialsy stuff out front. Yesterday, maybe 1.5 hours. Tomorrow I'll probably ride at least 4 and the following day 4 or so too.

Yes, I have saddle sores. mmmmmm

I might also mention that I'm a stay at home dad. I've got the time. :D

although I'd love to have 14+ the situation dictates half that on a good week---and this period in Iraq those 7 to 14 hours are all on a gym cycle:(

It will be sweet when you get home and ride in the woods again. Thanks for your efforts over in the sandbox...

Summer vacation

I'm a teacher on summer vacation, so it's been about 24 hours a week. Once school starts that will be drastically reduced. Though I will be riding to school, but I hardly count waiting at lights and sucking in bus fumes as real riding.

I commute 10-20 miles each way to work depending on if it is a recovery day or not. Probably 10-12 hours a week on the road and two to three on the MTB. Wish it were more but I have five kids and time is pretty cramped.

Thanks---those best thoughts must be why I had a crash free ride today. I'm back to HI for r and r but do return over there on the 8th and stay probably for the rest of the year. Today was my 1st mountain bike ride since in mid January.

I try and hit ~20, assuming the rain stops around here.

Usually a couple 2-3 hour rides, and 3 or so 30 minute hill sprints. Call it 5-8 hours a week + maybe a couple on the road bike.

Probably would be more but I'm splitting time between bikes, motorcycles, shooting, lifting, clubbing/drinking/poker and of course the girlfriend. (Not neccessarily in that order) Too many damn hobbies, but I can always sleep when I'm dead. ;)
