How light the ASX can be buillt for serious trail riding ?
mine is pushing 39 lbs. There's really no weight savings to be had on my setup except for the entire wheelset. The wheelset total i believe is somewhere in the 12-13 lb range, i might be wrong about that, but right now i have intense mag30's on atomlabs, 14g spokes, with Kenda kollasal 2.6's(1250 g); this was not built with weight in mind.

i'm thinking to build a nice light set with hope hubs or some chit like that. until then i'm bustin' a lung left and right....

My medium frame is 9.53 lbs. How light you can build it depends on your idea of serious trail riding. With the right spec you could build a sub-30 lb bike. Mine weighs 39lbs w/a Super T and DH tires. I have a set of 800g tires that brings the weight down to 37lbs. When I put on my 04 Z1 and the lighter tires the weight drops to 35lbs.
