I was thinking of going tomorrow (sunday) after this bit of rain and having not been there
does it drain well or turn into a swamp?

A bit late to this thread, though I rode Blue Moutain on Sunday (and today too). Considering Saturday's torrential downpoor, the trails were not too bad. I did not come across any muddy areas, just some slick rock.

Blue Mountain rocks!
