I've met a few on the trail that could benefit from a dose of Lithium.
What the heck are you guys talking about? People needing Prozac can be a serous matter and those needing Lithium are several magnitudes more serious than that. This isn't aspirin or Sudafed or caffeine or even weed. If someone is riding then the itself is likely to be a temporary substitute, effectively, for the Rx. The Rx is for keeping it straight when you are NOT out riding.

So what's the point? Are you really bored? Cease this pointless train of thought.

Try not to be so serious about it. I don't think any harm was intended.

I always considered that a good mtn bike ride was the best therapy I could have. Relieves stress, makes problems seem smaller, truly a fantastic mental attitude adjuster. When I did my psychiatric nursing rotation, I felt that a lot of the patients could have benefited from a good regime of aerobic exercise. Cycling, it's not a cure all but it definitely helps the body and mind.

I'm not sure lithium would help those you see on the trail, prozac or valium maybe. Or maybe just a beer and a slice of pizza.
