I have a Graber Mountaineer Rak(that is how they spell it, not Rack) and my brother undid all the straps from the buckles. Now I cannot figure out how to secure them properly. I have been using it regardless the wrong way, as result the nylon straps loose tension and often even unhook from the trunk as I drive.

Can someone tell me how you are supposed to loop the nylon straps into the buckle?

Here is a pic of the buckle:

valuable lesson

I learned a valuable lesson to always double back on all clasps. It's well known that truck racks should be checked on a regular basis while traveling, but i've noticed it helps alot to reduce them from loosening if I double back them. When I say double back I mean running the strap in the clasp like you normally would and then back around the same clasp.
