How do I measure threaded headset?

I need a new fork for a 94 KHS Montana Pro, but it has a threaded HS, Do I just measure from the bottom of the headtube to the top of the lock nut?

Thanks

Yeah, from the top of the fork crown to the top nut. Make sure you get the right diameter, too. It might be a good time to get a new headset and stem and convert to threadless...

If it's a suspension fork, you might have a hard time finding a fork that will work with cantilever brakes...
