Except they tend to fall off when you put your bike in a stand if you happen to hit them wrongaz1jeff said:Don't care for the zip ties. They rip your skin even if you use a dremel to smooth them down. And you you have to cut them off. C-clips you can re-use. C-clips work better.
Can't say I've had that trouble. At least they don't remove skin when it happens. Mine have pretty much stayed put. I don't think I've ever lost one either. Yet.hado_pv said:Except they tend to fall off when you put your bike in a stand if you happen to hit them wrong
Not sure how a you can "cut yourself" worse on smooth and rounded c-clip than a cut off zip tie?tussery said:I have cut myself on a lot worse than a small zip tie in my life. I too have had the C clips come loose on me. I have never seen a zip tie break or fall off in all of my field use of them at work. Never have cut myself on one either.
In other words you are making a mountain out of a mole hill. Funny you are doing something that you risk giving yourself a concussion, broken bones, or sever lacerations and you are worried about a zip tie scratching you.az1jeff said:Huh?
