I have a couple of Stan's rubber rim strips that are fouled with dried latex which I think will hamper proper sealing. Any ideas how to clean that stuff off? I tried dish washing soap and a scotch brite pad but to no avail - the stuff is dried and stuck on.

Thanks,

Dan

Reviving this old thread because the question is unresolved. I'm sure someone has discovered something that works by now. I have tried - coolant, rubbing alcohol, ammonia.
The last time I got a flat with my tubeless setup, I took the Stan's soaked rim strips and tubes into the shower with me, they came out clean after not much rubbing.
