What do you think about putting a 120mm on front like they do for the 26 epic evn the 29er version they keep 100m on front put a single ring on along with tire changes that dont make sense and call it an evo.I test rode the bike and liked it,I know its a xc bike but looks like it would make a really fun trail bike with a bit slacker angle. Anybody tried this,The 120/95 talus might be the way to go

According to the owners manual the 2011 is "ONLY compatible with single crown forks of 120mm or less". So it's possible.

I put a short stem and a 720mm bar on a stock Epic demo bike and it was a hoot. The front end is already pretty slack for that type of bike...I think a taller fork would just make it floppy. It could definitely use a through-axle front though.
