The Houston area just got its first IMBA Chapter, the Fort Bend Mountain Bike Association (FBMBA.org). They'll be stewarding the trails in the Sugar Land through Katy area. If you live in the area, the FBMBA website has up-to-date trail info and maps.

Thanks! Couldn't have done it without the mentorship from guys at the WMBC! Might have never happened if you hadn't replied to that forum post several months ago.
That is what makes this culture grow and makes the future bright, we have to help each other toward common goals, sadly so many MTBer's just dont get it..

We are going in so many directions right now we really need to focus on a single target to get things accomplished here with WMBC, polishing out 2 trail systems, one is under machine contract to complete, the other keeps getting beat up by the land developers but still headed in a very positive direction. 3 to 4 new proposed trail systems with 2 different counties and one city, possibly the state and needing to focus on procurement of a quality timing system for competitions. Sadly I have missed the last two meetings due to race obligations, but really looking forward to next months meeting.

KEEP UP THE HARD WORK!!!!!!!
