recently i bought a pair of hope tech m4 brakes.the hoses are a bit coiled and i want to uncoil them.also i posted a picture of it and someone suggested that i cut the brake hose coz its a bit long.i talked with my LBS mech and told me to bring the extra olive when i bring my bike over for the brake hose adjustment.i checked the box and i didnt find any olive or any other metl thingy besides the brake adapter and some bolts.i checked the hope website for the brake hose cutting and the guy specifically mentioned that the olive is reusable.Did i loose the spare olive or is there no spare olive in the package.thanks guys

i did not receive a spare with mine. I reused the old one when I shortened my hose and it worked fine. I actually broke one in half but still used it since I did not have a spare.

Hope stuff is designed to be reused. Just open up the old olive and pop it back on.
