The new bike I'm planning to get has wheels with centerlock hubs. It comes with Shimano XT brakes. I am planning on swapping the XT's with Elixirs, but continuing to use centerlock rotors to save weight, as oppose to using an adaptor for a 6 bolt. I plan on using a 160mm front / 140mm rear combo.

So, would Shimano centerlock rotors work with Elixirs?

If I do end up using an adaptor for 6 bolt, would a Hope 2-piece rotor work with the Elixirs?

Since they both have the 2 piece design, I am wondering if the inner (black) section might come in contact with the caliper.

I didn't think so many other people would be asking the same Q's I was...

B/C of Elixir's top loading pads, the tabs (as on the Juicy pads) won't be a problem...or does it use tabs?
