I've got

1) Marzocchi Shiver SC with the 20 mm thru-axle set-up

2) 185 mm Avid mechanical disc brake calipers both front and rear

3) The front hub is a HOPE Big 'Un that only accepts a 5 bolt rotor, which I ordered from HOPE as well.

I matched the diameters of the Avid rotor with the HOPE rotor and they are identical. The HOPE rotor is barely thicker in gauge and, it has a larger brake track width.

I cannot fit this front wheel into my Avid caliper set up. Any Suggestions?

Not being able to fit a normal brake caliper is fair enough when you haven't used shims or the tolerances are conflicting, but the Avid caliper should fit anything. Loosen the CPS bolts if you can't get it in then, you're in big trouble.
