Would like to sitffen up the back end of my 2008 Heckler.

I've looked about and found:

Hope Conversion Kits Pro 2 10mm Thru Rear

With the above I thiink I would need a 10mm axle and nuts - would this be ok on the Hecklers droupouts?

or

Hope Conversion Kits Pro 2 10mm Bolt Up Rear

Getting the bolts screwing in form either side - again would this be ok on the dropouts.

I know about the DT Swiss Thru axle but its a tad expensive

Anyone got experience or advice on the above please?

yes I have the 10 mm bolts on my ProII's they fit the Heckler fine and my Nomad and yes they made a good difference to my Heckler, rear did feel stiffer.

I have 2 sets of wheels Hope with the bolt in rear hub and a specialised with the DT swiss 10mm rws and they both feel much better, the DT is more convenient for removing the wheels , b ut the Hope uses a 6mm allen key so that's all you need in your tools.

I have the Hope Pro II's with the bolt on kit. It works great and does offer some additional stiffness to the rear end. They are great hubs too; loud as hell but work great.

Cheers,
Andy

Nope, gotta play the waiting game. CRC has had the best Hope hub and wheelset deals on earth for the last 6mo. Consequently as word has gotten out they are a bit harder to come by.

If you are using 20mm front and 10mm rear you can snag a saint M800 wheelset off ebay for $60 right now. Yes, a complete wheelset :eek:ut: Only issue is the rotors, but otherwise the Saint M800/M801 stuff is solid ;)
