I was all set to pick up a front mono mini brake. I already researched brakes for entirely too long and settled on the brake I wanted in the first place. THEN, hope threw me for a loop. I was ready to purchase the thing at speedgoat and saw they now offer a new type of rotor: an Alloy/Stainless 2-piece. Its $180 vs. $155 for the original . Speedgoat's site says it weighs less(325g vs. 370g), dissipates heat better, and stays true.

Anyone try this thing? Is $25 going to fluff.

you don't really have much choice. All of the )% brakes are the new rotor type. If you find a pair with a steel rotor buy it, because they are in limited supply. QPB only sell the 05 rotor now. I've got 2 of the new rotors and I have not had any problems with them, plus they look b!tchin'
