I understand the benefits of hookless rims; stronger, more durable, etc.

Are there hookless tires?

I may be missing something (likely) but if the inner wall of a hookless rim is essentially flat, wouldn't the optimal mating surface also be flat; i.e., a beadless tire? If using a beaded tire on a hookless rim, doesn't the bead create a non-flat surface/mating? Which would in turn affect tire retention, sidewall sturdiness, and tubeless reliability?

Just kind of curious as it seems Lots of people are clamoring for hookless rims, but without using with a hookless/beadless tire - wouldn't that eliminate a lot of the benefits?
