Well it was another beautiful day to ride in Sedona and to say the least trail conditions were perfect. Mt wife and our new friend, Rich, from Santa Cruz got together for some Radar, Rams Head, Cake Walk, Pyramid, Witch Doctor, Double D and Secret Slickrock.

At that point a new rider pulled up at the reflection pond. Low and behold it was Chalkpaw, who had driven down from the frozen north to do some warm 45 degree riding. It was nice finally hooking up with CW and thanking him for his recent trail improvements that will certainly add to the enjoyment of riding some of Sedona's best trails.

It will be interesting if the Eco Nutsie blows out the new improvement on the Baldwin trail that one of the elves put in the other day.

After heading down Secret Slick Rock we headed down to Budda Beach, up to Chavez Road, right on Ridge, left up Sketch, left on Lemonada Bypass, down Old Ridge to Ridge, to Carol Canyon, and back to the house on Homee,

We said goodbye to Chalkpaw where Bike Path intersects Homee and hopefully he made it back to the High School w/o too much getting off trail.

Hey TD; that was good timing on meeting up at that pretty overlook onto Red Rock Crossing. After spending the previous day at home in a snowstorm I thought that the red rock trails would be too squishy. I was actually heading down to the Black Canyon Trail but when I stopped in verde valley for fuel and a soil test:aureola: I was pleased to see perfect conditions. A short drive through Page Springs brought me back to 89. I parked over by the high school and rode Legendary as a warm up and then headed over to where y'all were riding. While heading over to Pyramid, I saw some fresh tracks and made some time and caught up.
Being New Years day and resolution time, 2010 is my time to actually start riding with others. Group rides, acting as local tour guide, hosting the Brits and that sort of stuff. Its a great time cause northern arizona seems to be in a renaissance trail riding and its a lot of fun to pass that around.
Anyway, after leaving you at Bike Path, I had no problem heading back up the hill and back to the carpark.

So, when does the work start on the reroute on baldwin/budda beach?
