Anyone interested in hitting Keystone on Wednesday the 19th? rroeder and I will be driving up from the Springs and have room for 1-2 more people from the Springs. We'll be there for the first chair at 10:00 if anyone wants to meet there.

Hell yeah, can't wait
I'll join if I can - need to check Monday

Kristian,

long time no see - I'll join if anyhow possible. There is a lull in the office and I have hopes to be able to sneak out.

Should know on Monday and will let you know.

Klaus
I was planning on hitting Keystone on Wednesday and my partner just bailed out. Do you mind a tag along? What level of trails do you ride? I am fairly partial to the black ones. If it doesn't work out have fun.

K, I am SO in! dropped you an email ... can't wait!! :D
Hey K-man are we still on for Satuday July 29th at Keystone?

Anyone know what type of Bikes they rent?
Depending on how my left healing broken foot feels, I might be in for my first day at Keystone of the summer.
I won't be pushing it or riding aggressive or hitting drops, I will be just taking it easy.
I might be in. I will know more on Tuesday...
What does 'partial' mean? I am not a native English speaker and this is one of the expressions I simply have not learned, yet.

But in any case: I send you a PM so we can hook up. I'll have my daughter with me. So a little more defensive riding will be the name of the game. She rolls the double-diamonds but not necessarily WildThing (the tight turns with steps get her).

Cheers

Klaus

No problem. We'll start on the blacks, but I like to ride the green and blue trails at least once each time I'm up there. We won't be riding racer pace, but we won't be TOO slow either. We'll be up there about 9:30 or maybe even a little earlier and will be parked on the left side of the parking lot in the front. I drive a blue and gray Subaru Outback and ride an orange Bullit (rroeder has a way too shiny looking (brand new) green RFX).

I think that should still work out fine. I'll check the rental situation when I'm up there on Wednesday. There are two places that rent, Keystone and Christy Sports, both are right at the base. In the past, they've had a lot of mid level trail bikes and one or two freeride bikes.
cool. sounds like a plan is forming. thanks for the beta. I'll be in touch as the day gets closer.
I'm out, minor fall yesterday sent me to the emergency room with 12 stitches, shooting for the 29th though!

Despite Rick's pathetic attempt to weasel out of going, ;) DHpimp and I are still going. Cross your fingers for good (lightning free) weather and tacky trails!

Whats pathetic is that I crashed and required stitches riding in Stratton!, and on the RFX no less!!
Oh, wait, I just re-read the subject line. HOOKEY, not hooker. Darnit, I was thinking Keystone was finally getting serious about out-drawing Whistler... :(

I'm in. See you guys there tomorrow!
Hey Brian--after looking at the forecast, I decided to bail on tomorrow (and by default, dhpimp did too since he was riding with me). I hope you have a great first day back in the saddle!!!

Thanks Kristian. I am going to head up anyhow. We may get rained out by afternoon or something but I want some time on the bike. See ya maybe the next time.

As it happens, I'm going to be up in Summit County on the 29th. What are the details on the meet/ride? The folks I'm with will be mostly green/blue (two on hardtails), and my wife on her SL that hasn't been ridden in a couple of years.
