Hi

I am wondering if you could ride downhill with an hone crankset. It looks verry much
like an saint crank. Can you run the version with the bashring as an single ring setup.
The crank is priced way better then a saint.

Could you ride it?...Sure. Looks are deceiving though and they are not on the same level as the Saints. I've held an LX crank and I own Saints and the LX aren't even close to being as burly and From what I understand the hone are LX cranks with a steel insert for the pedal but I really don't know about that or not. Hone would definitely work but they aren't the strongest and I wouldn't go hucking with them. A lot of top Dh racers run lighter cranks because they are racing and not hucking but for everyday use I would get a beefy set of cranks that are reasonable in weight like the saints
