if the crank cracked twice, I would nicely ask for a different crank this time. A crank defect can cause a wreck/injury.
Holowgram cracked crank Cannondale scalpel
Hello everyone, thank you for accepting me, I am writing to you from Spain I have the following problem with the crank of a Cannondale scalpel 2 from 2021, it is the second one that cracks me and in both cases it has been accepted as guarantee, this one with more than one month of delay, any case of a colleague that has happened, or guide me what the cause may be, greetings.

If that happened twice I'd be looking at the spindle. It also looks odd that the crank bolt isn't flush.

Esta es la imagen de la segunda manivela,es curioso el caso en garantía no ponen inconvenientes pero no se da una alternativa a otra y no hay en producción hasta el 15/11.

Get use to them cracking unless you go with a different crank set.

This was my 3rd set. At some point Cannondale will stop warranting them for you.
