Is there anything unique about the pivot bolts in the Hollowpoint? I've had a few of them off and they look like something you could find at a hardware store. I guess my question is that if I snap a bolt will I be able to hit the hardware store up for a replacement or will I have to wait to get one from IH? Any other critical pieces that might fail (besides the derailleur hanger). If there are things that I can only get from IH, I'd rather order spares and have them ready to go, than wait for something to break...

I guess my question is with the exception of the two brass colored pivot bolts, are the others pretty standard?

yes the other bolts look like standard bolts but what happend to me is that the stud between the brass bushings broke i was able to remove the broken stud out of one of the bushings but the other one the broken stud would not budge i drilled the stud threw in a drill press and tried to use an easy out but it kept twisting out without budging the broken stud . i then tried to heat it up but it still would not budge and i had the darn thing glowing red so i had no choice but to get a new one from IH i also called supergo from where i purchased and had them get one for me also I now have a spare and hope i never have to usr it everything has been holding up great so far and havent had a problem in about 4 months . but if you do brake one it will only take about a week or less just call bruce at IH and he will take care of it RIDE ON
