Yesterday was my first ride on the Cone. What a beautiful trail! Somehow though, pain always comes along with pleasure.

Coming down one of the many fast downhills I rounded a corner to see two bikes leaned against a tree off the trail and the owners standing in the middle of the trail. I grabbed a fistfull of brakes, the bike slid and I went down hard. I can't really blame the the two standing in the trail though, I've been riding long enough to know not to run that hot into a blind corner. Still a damn fun ride.

LOL...after seeing the dude in that photo I can see why.

My crash wasn't bad, just irritating. Bad generally involves X-Rays and/or stitches...and some times CT brain scans. Of which, I've done all.

The important thing here is that my bike is fine. :thumbsup:

I think my favorite part of riding is that we value the condition of our bikes over that of our bodies when it comes to wrecking.

That Sheep has got to be once of the sexiest chuncks of Ti I've ever seen.

The hand is sore but I plan to be back on the bike either today or tomorrow depending on work/weather. Too many trails and not enough time!
