Does anyone have any experience with the Sports Works Transport Series hitch rack?
Thinking of getting one would like to hear any thoughts or opinions
Thanks

That's an easy one -- it's be best hitch rack in the biz. Fastest loading, excellent quality, wheel hoops for fat tires, easy folding.

Best rack made to date. I have the DH/Freeride version, designed to carry two 50lb bikes. I know other people who have used the standard racks to carry there DH bikes as well, even though they're not designed for it and have only heard of one problem which was a result of the support pin breaking and the bike ending up being dragged down the middle of the freeway at 70mph, but no real damage.

Sportworks racks are the best

I'll have to agree with them...my Sportworks rack is great. You will be very happy with it. For an even better reccomendation check out www.yubaexpeditions.com they use the Sportworks racks on their shuttle vans and haul 1000's of bikes a year up the mountain.

"Our bike racks are the finest in the industry, featuring the Sportworks design. We have been using Sportworks racks since 2000, and they have solved a lot of problems for us, especially with all the downhill bikes we have been loading. Sportworks are used on the roof, as well as front and rear hitch mounts, allowing us to securely accommodate 14 passengers and 14 bikes per van."

Definately the best. I saw the post of the aftermath of the pin breaking and I immediately went out and replaced that support pin with a Grade 8 bolt. Get the Mad Phat tire hoops as I had a hard time getting my 2.7 Minion in and out of the hoop. I also have a hard time with the rear wheel lockring since the ring is too small for my Trailpimps.
