my camelbak Mule comes with a built in rain cover that I can pull out.

Does anyone have anything like that for their hip pack?

I run an EVOC 3l Pro, looking for something to keep in the pack as a rain cover.

Not the answer you’re looking for but if it’s raining that hard it could just go under a emergency rain jacket (e.g. the Houdini ) you should have in the pack, or just spray it with some scotch-guard occasionally.

I have looked at a number of hip packs and I have yet to see a cover. I’d assume it is a space issue in the pack.

If you really wanted one, i’d Imagine a tailor could make you one.

I occasionally just empty the supplies out of my pack and throw it in the washer. It comes relatively clean.

You can get waterproof hip packs like these. Should be available again this fall.

If I'm thinking it's going to rain significantly on a ride I'll carry a ziplock bag for my phone. You could do the same for the contents of your hip bag. Either but it it one large ziplock or a few smaller ones to sort the items. Freezer bags are pretty durable.

Well, I just pressure washed my very muddy Dakine Hot Laps 2lt, very little moisture got in, probably only because I had the zip cover flap up to clean out mud, spraying directly at zipper.
