Nice Teeg!delnorte said:Keep checking this Site Mash webpage daily. It shows all ebay & nationwide craigslist listings of Turner. You can search for any brand bike (cars, planes, etc) on this site. It' great when you're looking for the right bike/price to come along.
It's how I found my Highline. I just waited for the perfect price to show up and, BAM! I'm on a sweet new Highline...

What do you mean by this?CharacterZero said:thanks for that link.
i also use searchallcraigs.com or crazedlist.org (the later if you want to build RSS feeds)
RSS is a tool that delivers update notification to your inbox. Now, to have an inbox, you have to have an RSS "reader" such as Google's Reader.Mtn. Biker123 said:What do you mean by this?
Cool...I think Yahoo has it.CharacterZero said:RSS is a tool that delivers update notification to your inbox. Now, to have an inbox, you have to have an RSS "reader" such as Google's Reader.
Basically, you use the crazedlist to search all the sites for specific parameters and click the option that creates an "RSS feed." This will generate a file that you import into your reader. Then your reader is automatically updated anytime something matching those parameters is posted - and your corresponding folder gets highlighted, etc.
If you are looking for something very specific, it is a great tool (like a make/model of sunglasses, hub, etc).
It really brings to light how global even the most local classified sites can be.
And in my experience, as long as you are personal/up front with people in other locals, there is no problem shipping/processing payment. Just let them know how you found the ad, offer various methods of payment and ASK FOR PROOF that they have it (usually pic of item with something else you request...hub with a shot of a website/newspaper/plate of cheerios in the background, etc).
I had a guy in SF who wanted to sell some pedals to me last week, but didn't want to provide a pic...he then told me he sold them on ebay, but they didn't show up as ever having been listed OR sold there, so eff him.
Bummer Teeg, we missed ya today. Sorry for the mixup but it doesn't look like your going to have trouble getting it to a well deserved owner:thumbsup:delnorte said:I have an 08 large Highline that I bought just this November from an online seller who listed it as a medium. Looking to unload it, as it's too big. I have not ridden it yet, since it's too big & it's ski season here.
