Been a few years since I've been to Highland, last time I went (2010, yikes?!) we camped in the parking lot overnight.

Do they still allow this? We aren't a rowdy group and obviously aren't going to have a campfire on their lot.

Tried calling but I got a busy signal.

As far as I can tell it's still allowed but they prefer you do so it the back of the lot. I was there at the end of May and there were a number of camper vans, some teardrop trailers and a few ground tents set up.

Camping scene is pretty strong! I'd say about 2 dozen of us were camped there beside the lot. Fun times and good vibes!
