I think every High School and Junior team within 20 miles was at Granite Bay this morning - and there wasn't even a race! Awesome to see so many kids getting turned onto mtb. Skinny and fast!

Makes me think (again) what a great force they are for getting more trail access

Believe it or not, there were six teams doing "repeats" on the steep trails in Cool, so you only saw a portion of the future advocates today.

Wow. That's pretty explosive growth. The secret is out.

But, they're not "future" advocates - they're present advocates. They can write letters, speak at public input sessions etc. Plus, they're presence on the trail - like today at Granite Bay - who can argue with that?! Kids getting out in the woods and fresh air, getting exercise while using their parks. Winning.
