I've had this bike since May however I am just finally getting the bike dialed in and I am now starting to reap the rewards. I decided to take Friday off and do a slacker ride. It was a short ride of only 9 miles but the elevation, scenery, crisp air and fast winding single track made it worthwile. On the way down I was blown away by the great handling down the fast and twisting descent. Hats off to Charles at Hammerhead and the guys at Titus for putting this bike together. This is an awesome machine!

Tow rope anyone?

I love the wilderness!

It was a little snowy at the top.

Hi KRob.....

Cool looking trail. Gotta dig the polished HH. Some of those pics remind me of my HH posing on the alpine trails here in Nevada. Where are you finding trails that high, (mostly) free of snow? NM?
Don't think that's a polished frame.......Sue has a gray anodized Hammerhead frame. That looks like gray ano with the decals removed.....

Too wet to ride in SW Idaho right now.....those trails look sweet! What's it like in Ely?

The bike is grey ano with stickers removed for stealth. This trail is Mt Waterman Loop trail max elevation of about 8,300' and is located in SOCAL deep in the heart of the Angeles National Forest. The same time last year this place was completely burried from our record rain/snowfall. I'll be attempting to go as high as I can on Mt. San Antonio- 10,064' elevation that is if the weather holds. Taz the fork is a 2002 Marz Z1 @120mm. Charles don't wory, that chair wasn't moving. I swear!

Can you share some details on what you did to get the HH100 dialed in?

I have an '02 HH100 and it's an awesome bike but I'm still looking to improve it. Climbs great but the steep HA still gets me in trouble on the technical downhills.

Yeah, at first I thought it was titanium, but then I noticed the welds. Grey ano it is.

It snowed here on Monday then got real warm.... so the ground is pretty soggy. Not even cold enough in the mornings to freeze it either. It's kind of ironic I was riding last week in the low single digits but had to ride the trainer this week due to too much warmth. :(

Think I'll head south after Christmas and hit gooseberry, then Vegas on NewYears.

My brother was thinking Gooseberry and Little Creek after Christmas (he's a teacher).......I may burn some VAC time and join him.

Weird weather we've been having this December in SW Idaho.
