well I think I'm finally narrowing the frame choices down for my new build to two choices, the dobermann moloose and the Evil imperial. Heres the lowdown.

Imperial: roughly $800

Tough as nails, looks amazing, costs about $100 more than the dob frame, and is difficult to find (out of stock lots of places and go-ride.com says the imp line won't be available till later this fall with minor changes to the frame).

Dobermann moloose: Roughly $700

not quite as tough as the imp, but the dobermann guys say that if I break the frame in two years, then they'd custom make me a new frame that I definitely couldn't break for free. Very cool company, great CS and stuff like that. I love the look and the cutom colors.
www.dobermannbikes.com (i couldn't get a pic of the moloose but you can find them at the dob website)

what would you guys do, keep in mind that money is sort of an issue and I'll hopefully be running it SS with a boxxer ride up front (I love the idea of an adjustable travel DC fork)

i would pretty much go that route but I can't find them in stock anywhere. And that whole go-ride notice had me wondering if they weren't going to be available anywhere for a while.
I just checked and beyond bikes has them in stock for $775 bucks ---> http://www.beyondbikes.com/bb/ItemMatrix.asp?GroupCode=FR-EV-Imperial&MatrixType=1

Try calling Unreal Cycles too, they might have them in stock. I also checked ride-this.com, They are out of stock at the moment but you could call and ask when they'll have 'em.

ive found used imp frames for like 400 bucks
where have you found these frames, I've been looking, and I suppose that lack of a warranty issue with used imps wouldn't be bad as most all reviews say they are bombproof. Any info on where to find used imps?
