Yep, many of the trails and some parks (Santa Teresa) will be closed and others have that sticky mud, you don't want to ride on. I'm glad I went for a ride today. Tomorrow it's a recovery ride on the trainer in the garage. Boring....

My friend Robin the Weatherman told me yesterday that the storm after this one... due to come in next week... may be the strongest storm of the decade.

On a brighter note...

This weather makes for the best riding of the year at Ft Ord. The Ft Ord soil that is sandy in some places becomes cohesive and very ride-able during and following the rain.

It looks like the MORCA Night Ride will be moved this week from Wednesday to Thursday night. If you are planning on Night Riding this week, check the MORCA website for the latest...
