Is this how the wire routing is supposed to be for the Shimano SLX M671 front deraillur when I have a bottom pull setup? It looks weird to me, but this is the routing I've seen on images on google for the SLX front mec with bottom pull. somehow it seems wrong to me. The kink the wire gets from this routing is the reason for splitted wire strands btw. So if this is the correct routing, I guess I have to get a new wire and precut it cap it before I attach it to the mec.

Yes that is correct, NO, the routing is not why the strands are like that, don't over tightened them and they won't do that.
