Hello everybody!
I have found a lot of useful information in this thread, and it gave me a general idea what I should look for for a start point for my tune trip, but still want to hear some suggestion for my case.

I have two bikes - Santa Cruz Nomad v4 with 230x60 shock and 170 travel (leverage ratio ~ 2.83) which I think is more to the progressive side, and other bike is Canyon Spectral:ON with 230x60 shock and 150mm travel (leverage ratio ~ 2.5) which is more linear comparing to SC Nomad.

In the pictures below are the shimstack, of the two shock that I own, both of the purchased second hand as upgrade for both bikes.

And here is the questions that I have and hope somebody will help.
EDIT: I'm 75kg with equipment and 175 cm if does matter :)
1. I'm thinking of shock with LNL1 tune and HotDog piston (bigger compression flow valves) will more suitable for Canyon with 150mm rear travel. What is your consideration, should I change some shims or it will be a good start point?
2. As I red in other thread, MM320 tune is way over damped, but it is the suggested tune from SantaCruz for nomad, should I look for something more linear in point of rebound, or better leave it like is this?

3. Any suggestion for custom shim stack with available shims will be highly appreciated, as in my country there is limited access to shims and stock kits from RockShox.

I don’t know about your canyon but I think I’d try the LN/L tune for the Nomad at your weight as a generic tune. The new bullit (and Nomad as well I believe) use the L/L tune and they’re similar to the old Nomad. I had the N4 and heavier than you, going a little lighter on compression and rebound while ditching the digressive made it a lot different (as well as the change in the base valve from the tractive tuning).

I was thinking the same, as most of people says that MM tune is way over damped and it requires a lot of force to go to high speed circuit, also explained by Vorsprung in this video.
So I will pack LN/L tune for Nomad, if somebody have some suggestion on what to do with shims for Canyon, maybe I have to look for lighter tune for this more linear frame. As I red in other thread, removing preloading shim (16.4x19x0.4mm) shim will improve it, but does someone tried it that way?

Something that I noticed is that the CheckPlate has a different diameter in two shocks - in older shock (2017) is 19mm and the one in newer shock is 22mm (2020). How this could affect overall performance?

Hmm that is interesting I never realized they changed that too. I guess this would allow more flow through the check plate on highspeed rebound but what the overall effect of running more shims on the main piston to make up for the increased flow through the check plate vs less shims on the main piston with the smaller check late I’m not sure. Or even more shims on the larger check plate to = the smaller. Guess they’ve gone through quiet a few minor tweaks with no announcement.
