my company is sending me to albaquerque for 3 weeks of training in July. I am comming from phoenix and wanted to drive my truck and bring my bike, but it looks like if I do that it will be at my expense and out of the question. I was instead considering finding a place that has rentals that I could take out on the weekend, and maybe a local that knows some fun trails? I normally ride a cannondale jekyll and I am not afraid of a whole lot of trails here but at the same time I am not lookin to get hurt while on the company tab..... Is there anyplace with descent prices on bike rentals and are there any tails open that would make it worth the trouble/price?

Thanks fer yer time.......

Northeast Cyclery on Menaul Blvd. rents decent bikes. Also Sandia Peak rents bikes for their lift assisted DH/AM rides. The Ski Area (Sandia Peak) is probably your best bet for good riding (locally) as forest is closed due to fire danger:madmax:

If the time is right and you're close to 5'10, I'll show you around and loan you a bike.

sounds good. I'll buy the beers later, we'll make it business and I'll expense it...... I will be in "class" from 8-5 M-F, although it is not uncommon to get out early.

hey, I am bored to death in rio rancho now. I have found myself stairing at my helmet and shoes in my hotel while desperatly tryin to find something on the free cable.....

My training is ending now around 2-3 each day, and I will be off on the weekend if you are still available......

hit me with an email and we can try to work something out?
