hello all, like many others, i've been lurking and reading as much as i can for quite some time. I have a two month old Kona Coiler which i ride 5 to 6 times a week. It currently has a Marzocchi Drop Off IV fork :)bluefrown:) , which was good to get me started with the bike, but I want something with a little more cushy-ness and alot more smooth. from the very start i've had nothing but problems with it and my kona dealer has been great about warranty issues.
Anywho from much reading a research, i feel im going to go with a Marzochi 66 in the front as a replacement.

In the rear it has a vanilla R shock. I'm looking for suggestions to replace this. I've heard and read good things about many different rear shocks.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what a good replacement would be for this. I'm trying to avoid bobbing as much as possible.

my stats are as follows
i weigh 175lbs.
the terrain i ride is pretty much a mixture of everything, some cross country, some downhill, some urban, some decent drops etc.

Any and all suggestions and comments are appreciated

This year's 66 is a great fork. I absolutely love it. Good choice.

As of the rear, if you can get a hold of an older, used, cheap, Vanilla RC, and got it PUSHed you would be in good shape for less money than getting one of the current good shocks. DHX coil is alright, it isn't fantastic, I only hear great things about the Double Barrel, but it is super expensive. 4way Swingers have a good reputation also.

I would advise against the ROCO and an Avalanche, since they have no platform and would bob. At the same time, bob comes from bad pedaling habits and standing up and hammering. I would imagine on a Coiler you're seated when climbing, so working on your pedaling would remove 90% of your bob.
