Help with clonky 2008 Minute IT

539 Views 3 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  cachopo man
Hello to everyone.
I´ve just bought a 2008 Manitou Minute IT hex axle to Jenson Usa.
The fork works fine, but it has a small vertical play or looseness just before starting compressing, and makes a clonky noise.

I have searched in the forums and this seems quite common, but I haven´t found a solution to it.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the noise and the play?
Thanx.

Here's a crazy idea. Give Manitou a call:thumbsup:

All kidding aside. I just bought one of the minute elite tpc from jenson too. But, Manitou Cs is great to talk to.

It might take a few times to get a hold of them but when you do they will either give you the info or help you get a rma back to them to take care of it.

I've talked to them a few times about setting up my rear shocks (ISX-6 and Swinger 6 way)
for different bikes.
Ok, but I live in Europe, so I´ll try by email.
