Help with broken Mavic Crossland spoke nipple

The lower portion of the nipple cracked below the rim, and I don't have a socket to extract the head of the nipple put from under the yellow rim liner.

Does anyone know what size socket (I'm assuming it's measured in mm) I need? I can't get a grip with needle nosed pliers...
