This is driving me nuts...can anyone tell me where this white spacer goes in the Contact dropper post? It's a 150mm dropper post and for the life of me I can't remember where it goes...I actually assembled the post without it and it seems to be fine but I'm worried it might lead to damage.

I've looked for an exploded dropper post diagram but can't find one. Every youtube vid I look at doesn't show this white spacer so I'm dumbfounded...

TIA for any insight!

Does it fit over the threads at the end of the cartridge? I don’t recall seeing that piece, but it was a couple months ago, and I didn’t pull apart the actuator.

I’m expecting a new dropper lever to arrive today, and I’ll probably be trimming the housing down a bit so I’ll have the dropper out. I’ll take a look.

Thank you very much for replying. Yea, it slides over the threads that are on the shaft of the cartridge. The only place I think it could possibly be used is up against the cartridge body, to the left of the black rubber stop pictured above. I just don't recall seeing this on any video or diagram.

If you could take a look at yours I'd be really grateful.

I didn’t pull the whole thing apart, but I unscrewed the actuator. No white spacer.

Thank you so much! Yea, that white spacer must not have been in my post...everything seems to work fine. I just sent a Fox Transfer post in for service. It was ~$166 not including my cost to ship it out. It's a great post but hard to compete against the serviceability of the Giant post...
