Stick with a hardtail in your price range...neither the Trek or the GT stick out as being exceptionally better than the other. I would suggest riding both and deciding which one you feel more comfortable on.
Help the noob......
Ok guys...my budget is 600.. my three choices are a 2010 Trek 4300 Disc for 560....a 2010 GT Avalanche 3.0 Disc for 540..... or a slightly used 2008 Haro R3 shift disc with full suspension for 500.... what do you guys think?
