I'm thinking of selling my RFX. The frame is in amazing shape. I want something more downhill specific. Its my second bike and I figure I might as go all the way and get a downhill rig. How much should I ask for it. Its an 02.

Frame only

I just want to sell or trade the frame. Its a Med. with 6 in rockers. Its the dark red front with polished rear. Chrome stickers. Ill put up some pics tom. Near mint condition no dents or digs . It has the thick dhr headtube. Last year they made her.

You can probably get a decent amount seeing as how beloved RFXs are and how rare they're becoming.

well since the frame was way overpriced when it was in production i say ask something ridiculous like 1700us. you will end up settling for about 60% or retail, or approx. 1300-1400 (if your lucky).
i say keep it and get a third bike (the dh). you will miss the rfx when you need a bike that can actually go up the occasional hill before dh/freeride goodness.

KEEP IT! you won't find a bike that perfect for a long time...

if needed, lighten it up a bit (the Fox 36 or Zoke Freeride) will be perfect 6" forks to do this...use it for heavy trail rides, light freeride (days you want to pedal up something and bomb back down)

then build your DH bike up and use it places where there is NO climbing (like a ski resort)
