Hi- A few mornings ago, someone came into my patio and took my Yokota mountain bike... It was so sad, I have had this great bike for a while. I bought it for around $1300.00. Now because Yokota isn't around anymore, The insurance company needs information on the bike to see if they have to reimburse me for it.. The local bike shop can't help me.

Does anyone know where I can get this information for the Insurance company.

I am so sad to loose my bike..

I'd post this in the Retro Vintage forums futher down the list. The Yakotas were some decent bikes back in the day. Someone there might have some info that could help.

What model & about what year was it?

I or others on the retro board might at least have the retail price in an old magazine/buyers guide.
I'm assuming you don't have the original receipt or get a price from a shop that used to sell yokota, eh?

Looks like firstflightbikes (.com) has some old yokota catalogs (from a quick google search).
