There was a thread about this a few weeks ago, but I got a little confused. I did my first DH race at Sea Otter, and felt a bit out of control, and I want to work on this.

Cornering with no berm - You are on that trail that has wicked fast fireroads that turn left and right and you are flying along, there's dirt and some loose gravel. How do I improve my cornering so I don't feel like I am about to lose it? From what i understand, I should keep weight on outside foot with pedal down, keep chin up, look through the corner, right? But what about leaning the bike? Should I keep bike upright, and have my body lean, or lean bike and keep my body more upright.

Cornering with bern (like Sea Otter DH) - Does the same rules apply?

Thanks!

first thing first...

if you own a bullit like I do, get rid of it, cause the dam thing can't corner worth a crap!!!! I love santa cruz, since I own a 4x and a bullit, but the 4x just puts the bullit to shame.
