HELP ME NOW!!!(please) IRC SERAC UST or KENDA KARMA UST????

901 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  xl_cheese
Deciding between the two for a low rolling resistance, light for UST, Northeast race tire. Karma has my vote so far because it seems much easier to mount than the seracs which people say are bears!! Any comments would be very much appreciated because I have a race this weekend I want to try them out on.

skip the karmas

i'd stay away from the Karma's for NE riding. They get thrashed real easy. I went thru 2 pairs very quickly. They are really supple which is a mixed blessing. They feel soft and, well, they are soft. Not a characteristic that's desirable in a tire for NE riding. The Conti Explorer's seem good enough, and my buddy likes his Mythos a lot.
