Hi there...

This is what i have:

On One Inbred frame (track ends)
Mavic Crossride wheelset (with specialized turbo butyl tubes)
On one Oversized Riserbar
Race Face Ride XC seatpost
Older Deore LX crankset (HollowtechII)
Shimano 520's pedals
Deore disc brakes
LX bottombracket
Truvativ Stylo stem
Surly 1x1 rigid fork
Nukeproof Plasma Stripe trail saddle

What to do?

I have the upgrade fever.... it ride pretty well, but i am currently thinking about this fork On-One Monocoque Straight Steerer Carbon Fork | On - One

Or this handlebar Renthal FatBar Lite Carbon Riser Bar | Chain Reaction Cycles
...

Buy a 29er Inbred and throw my parts on that?

what else? any suggestions?

Beside shut up and ride?

Cheers

If anything, upgrade the wheels (and go tubeless). Get Stans or some of them ebay carbon rims. Rest of your parts are pretty solid, no-nonsense parts, so I'd leave it alone.

#1 upgrade would be a set of lighter wheels, a set of Stans rims of your choosing built up on hope hubs will be fairly affordable and pretty darn light. you just need valve stems, sealant, and compatible tires, and you're ready to go tubeless. For a little more money you can get some chinese carbon wheels. Lighter wheels make a huge difference, one that is very noticeable.

As far as forks go, it's an easy place to trim some overall grams, and will make your front end lighter, so that's number 2.

Bars would be number 3. Carbon bars are awesome, I just went from a cheap alloy bar to a wider carbon bar. While I notice the difference, I also upgraded my fork and wheels and that makes a much bigger difference.

Those are nice, but you might want to go with arch ex's or flows for AM use
For rigid I would even suggest at least an Arch EX front. I'm running Crests on a rigid SS with 2.2's but that's my race set up, for speed, not comfort. a little more rubber on a wider rim in the front will make for a much nicer ride quality.

Mine Stan's/Hope wheels are 29'er wheels and I went with red hubs/silver spokes. Here's a vague idea how white rims look.
