Help me determine what Yeti bike this is

Two summers ago, I rented a Yeti mtb while on a trip in Colorado, but I can't remember which ASR model it was. I called the shop, they don't know, could be ASR5 or 575.

Here's a pretty good picture:

I'm in the market for a new bike. Thanks!

That is a Yeti ASR...I'd guess the year at 2007-2008. Can't believe that Wheat Ridge did not know...they are one of the biggest (but not the best apparently) Yeti dealers in the Denver area.
Thanks for the reply. So it's a "regular" ASR? What's the current-year version of that geometry? ASR5?

Yeah, oddly, they looked up the demo/rental history and I didn't exist, they have no record of me. You have good eyes to see that sticker!

Yep, this ASR5 will be the current bike that is similar but a lot less flex and just better.
The AS-R was the cross country full suspension bike that had 4 inches of travel. Great bike that can be built up around 23 lbs without issue. A bit of flex with the rear stays though. Came in aluminum only with carbon stays

ASR-5 has 5 inches of travel. Comes in aluminum or carbon with carbon stays. That is the dream CO bike at this point. Can be built around 24 lbs without issue or more of an all mountain lightweight if need be

That looks to be either an 2006 or 2007 based on paint color

Either of the bikes you are looking for will be an excellent choice unless you live in FL
