My rebound has stopped working on my 04 120. I noticed it bucking on the trail. No matter how much I twirl it, no response. I've had trouble with this fork getting anything near the full compression 6 months ago, so I had to reduce the oil level, until it increased. Still not 120 though....

Should I check the oil levels again? In both legs? I do have about 75 hours on it w/o an oil change. Any other ideas?

Thanks

First off...You'll never get 125mm of travel from a 120mm fork.

Your rebound issue is most likely due to you not having enough oil in the rebound (right) leg.

I'll try changing the oil in both legs for starters; the oil really smells like an open sewer......

Well, I changed it and now it works just fine...........
