Hi All,

New to the forum. I am trying to get back into mountain biking. I have an older K2 Proflex 4000 in great shape that I just got tuned and I am starting to ride again. I am a bit heavier than the last time I rode it and want to change out the springs. I have Noleen Cross Link ELT's in the front and Noleen NR4's (I believe) in the back. The springs are rated 130-170 lbs in the front and up to 140 in the rear. I would like to change them out to ones that are good for my weight (215 lbs). Noleen lists their part numbers for the correct springs in the K2 manual, but I am hard pressed to find anyone that sells them for this antique.

Noleen can't help me, I am hoping one of you kind folks might be able to point me in the right direction for replacements or substitutes.

Thank you in advance.

Your best bet is to measure the inner diameter of the springs and the unsprung length. You might be able to use fox springs.
